My client based in Calne are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operator for their manufacturing business on a permanent basis.
You will report directly into the Warehouse Team Leader, and the role will involve working within a small warehouse team, ensuring that all customer orders and picked correctly using side loader trucks.
The main duties with the role of Warehouse Operator are:
- Picking orders using a picking platform (training will be given)
- Stock checks
- Check products for visual and physical defect or damage.
- Ensuring that all machinery is checked for problems/defects at start of shift
- Complete all paperwork accurately and on time.
The role will involve working a 3-shift rotating working pattern which is:
Week 1 – 6am – 2pm
Week 2 – 2pm – 10pm
Week 3 – 10pm -6am
You must be able to work all of these shifts.
The successful candidate will have previous experience within a warehouse or distribution environment, and full training will be given on any machinery required to undertake the role.
