Our client is a leading business and they are now looking to recruit an experienced Senior IT Support Analyst to be the first point of contact for users who require support and advice for IT and Security topics across their sites. The role will also include the undertaking of regular maintenance duties of the local infrastructure.
Duties will include;-
- Administer the user records for any UK computer users.
- Maintain user data permissions in support of the company’s data-access strategy and security policy for server-based data.
- Manage network security through the effective deployment of local and remote user accounts, network data-spaces, and the privileges attached thereto.
- To provide training to end users where necessary to ensure the effective and secure use of IT resources and privileges in accordance with the company’s IT policies.
- Act as first point of contact for users who have computer problems, passing on problems in specific areas to other team members.
- Configure and roll out PCs to individual users, including desktop and laptop systems, printers and telephones.
- Order, configure and maintain corporate mobile devices and contract.
- Repair, refurbish and redistribute PCs where this is economically justifiable.
- Maintain records of user problems (using a problem- ticketing system) and ensure problems are always resolved.
Candidate Specification;-
- Any relevant ICT training through a recognised body
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows client, Server and Office platforms.
- Knowledge of supporting various corporate devices including desktops, laptops, printers and telephony systems.
- Working knowledge of Servers, Virtualisation, Storage and Networking.
- Knowledge of backup and security solutions including Veeam.
- Experience of administrating systems including Citrix, CAD and PLM software.
