Due to an increase in workload, Cross Manufacturing are seeking additional Production Operatives to join their team. Our client are world leading manufacturers of aerospace seals, aircraft piston rings and custom seal rings for aircraft engines, steam turbines, vehicle turbochargers, control valves and many other industrial environments.
The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out a range of duties, including close inspection and loading and slitting of small turbo rings, therefore you must be dexterous and be able to concentrate for long periods of time. Roles vary in the need to also be stood or sat for long periods of time.
You will be expected to work well in a team but equally independently using your own initiative. Previous production experience and confidence in the running of machinery will work to your advantage.
You must be able to commit to working a 39-hour week on double day shifts which are 0600-1400/1400-2200 Monday to Thursday and 0600-1300/1300-2000 on Fridays.
We offer competitive rates of pay, with an hourly rate at £13.59 per hour plus shift allowances.
This is a temporary assignment initially for 3 months, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
