HR Advisor – hybrid working available

Up to £35,000 per annum + benefits

Corsham, Wiltshire

6 months Fixed Term Contract

Due to continued growth, my client is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide an effective and professional HR service to management and staff.

You will be responsible for providing advice and support to managers on a range of HR areas including employee terms and conditions, employee relations, organisational change, and employment issues. You will also lead on providing business-focused HR solutions to support the development and provision of high-quality and innovative services.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Advise and support managers in the conduct of investigations, including disciplinary, grievance, attendance, and performance management procedures
  • Attend formal meetings/hearings and provide coaching, advice, and support to managers
  • Design and produce supporting documentation, manager’s guidance and toolkits for all HR related policies and processes
  • Advise and support managers in absence management and actively support line managers in reducing sickness absence
  • Maintain and update HR information systems with sufficient and appropriate information
  • Keep abreast of employment law and significant ET cases
  • Devise and deliver training to managers on absence management, performance management, and HR policies and procedures
  • Develop extensive knowledge around Employee Relations and provide advice, training, and guidance to other team members
  • Participate in recruitment activities such as interviewing, resourcing interventions, and recruitment open days
  • Contribute and lead on specific programs of work/projects as requested by senior management

Qualifications:

  • Level 5 CIPD Qualification
  • Evidence of continuous professional development in Human Resources
  • Exposure of absence, performance, grievance, disciplinary management
  • Experience of delivery frontline advice
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Organised and focused
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week.

Due to the client’s location, having your own transport is essential.
