It is an exciting opportunity that is available due to the retirement of the current postholder
The role is part-time and flexible working hours will be needed as often meetings can be held in the evenings.
You will work closely with the Chair and the Principal/CEO to manage the governance business
This is a pivotal and key strategic role in the organisation responsible for ensuring that the Corporation Board is in a strong position to lead the direction of the business at a time of change in the sector.
The ideal person for the role will have :
- Substantial relevant experience of working in a Governance or Company Secretary role.
- A strong interest in and understanding of how excellent governance and compliance can support the culture and success of an organisation
- You will be able to provide accurate and concise advice and clear and informed recommendations. where needed
