CMD Recruitment is working with a highly respected. award-winning apprenticeship provider to recruit a functional skills tutor to cover the Sheffield area
The role would suit a tutor who enjoys working in both a face-to-face and in a classroom-style setting as well as working online remotely
You will work from home most of the time and travel into Sheffield approx a few days a month and link in with learners from home via ZOOM to set and mark work
You will also need to travel occasionally to Barnsley
You will need a teaching qualification and ideally a level 3 in both Maths and English ( or level 3 in one and level 2 in the other ) plus experience in teaching functional skills to adult learners
All of the learners are taking a level 2 apprenticeship in the same subject and they all work for the same company so that makes it much easier to teach as they will be in small groups in one main setting with some travel to sites locally when required
As well as face-to-face teaching you will work remotely online
This role is to teach Maths and English Functional Skills at level 2
