We are looking to recruit a Forklift Operative for a well-known company based in Calne for an immediate start.
Candidates MUST have current tickets for Counterbalance and Side Loader.
As a Forklift Operative, you will be working as part of a professional and friendly team, contributing to the efficient operations of the Warehouse department.
Responsibilities
Working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Checking picking machinery for any problems/defects at the beginning of the shift and logging details on the relevant check sheets
Loading and unloading lorries
Undertaking routine housekeeping duties
Advising the Team Leader of any problems likely to affect the efficiency of the warehouse
Ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and promptly in accordance with Company procedure
Working hours are 18:00-06:00 Nights on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, including weekends.
This is initially a temporary ongoing position however, there is the potential for this to become a permanent position for the right candidate.
