Engineering Estimator
Permanent – Full Time
Near Chippenham
£35,000 – £40,000pa
Are you an experienced Engineering Estimator? Do you have experience working within a Manufacturing environment? Are you interested in working for a well-established business?
Our client is looking for an Engineering Estimator to join their highly skilled team. You will be responsible for tendering and preparing quotes / estimates for clients.
Duties:
- Researching the cost of materials, transport, labour and equipment
- Discuss risks, agree rates and profit margins with internal team and stakeholders
- Monitor project costs
- Obtain quotes from suppliers
- Continuous improvement of methods and processes
Knowledge, skills and experience:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience
- Experience of working within a manufacturing environment to ISO 9001 or higher is essential
- MRP experience is beneficial
- Excellent IT skills
- Fantastic Communication skills
Working hours are Monday – Thursday 8.00am – 5.00pm Friday 8.00am – 1.00pm
