Construction Project Engineer Calne
Due to continued growth, my client is looking to recruit a talented Project Engineer to join their specialist team. As a Project Engineer you will assist in the design, planning, delivery and commissioning of small to medium sized building and refurbishment projects.
Construction Project Engineer (Refurbishment / Groundworks / Modular Buildings)
The successful candidate will preferably have experience working from a main contractor background in general construction refurbishment and groundworks. Experience with crane lifts would be an advantage.
The Role In this role you will:
- Assist in planning, scheduling and management of multiple field based projects.
- Develop project specifications, cost estimates and project schedules.
- Proactively identify engineering problems and mitigate risks.
- Manage stakeholders including sub-contractors and clients.
- Commission and formally handover completed projects.
- Be proficient in Health and Safety Management on site
- Be able to liaise at all levels within the business.
- Develop best practice in accordance with the broader team.
- Support the design and development of new products.
The Person
- Ability to self-motivate, manage own time and organise activities effectively.
- Proactive outlook, able to work on own initiative and accept responsibility.
- Clear and effective communicator both written and verbal.
- Willing to travel.
Requirements
- Minimum BEng / BSc in an engineering discipline.
- Willing to travel.
- SMSTS advantageous
- CSCS black card
- Traffic Marshall certificate an advantage
- Asbestos awareness
- Computer literate
- Modular building experience an advantage
