Job Title: CNC Machinist
Salary: £34,000 plus bonuses
Benefits: 25 days holiday, generous pension scheme, private medical etc
Hours: Day shift pattern
Job Type: PERMANENT
My client is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Machinist to join their engineering team on a permanent basis at their Bath site.
Within the role of CNC Machinist, you will be producing a low to medium volume of products, ranging from batches up to 30 on average of our clients’ products.
The main function of the role will:
- To set/run various CNC machines with Fanuc controls.
- Programme/edit CNC programs.
- Self-inspection of parts machined.
- Ensure all necessary tooling, materials and documentation is available to facilitate on time manufacture.
- Maintain systems and procedures to enable continuing compliance with ISO9100 quality standard.
Skills/Experience Required
- Experience in CNC machining (Milling or Turning) of high precision products.
- Demonstrated experience in a high value, low volume mechanical manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Fanuc controls (programming knowledge ideally)
