Clean Room Operative: Twilight Shift

Andover, Hampshire

Salary up to £25,610.21    

Full time, Permanent    

The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 1pm – 11pm  

Breaks are 1x 30-minute unpaid lunch break and 2 x 15-minute paid breaks.

We are working in partnership with our client to recruit a Clean Room Operative on day shift to join their growing team.

The purpose of this position is to operate, maintain and monitor performance of clean room manufacturing equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of duties including the following:

 Machine Operation

  • Set-up, operate and safely shut down items of clean room manufacturing equipment in accordance with CIL-provided training.

Product Quality

  •  
  •  
  • Identify issues with product quality, machine process/maintenance or standards of workmanship and communicate in a timely manner to the Line Supervisor, Engineering, or Management.

Recording

  •  
  • Maintain accurate clear and retrievable production records in accordance with company procedures, to ensure production quantities are accurately booked against work orders and traceability of product is retained for serial number records, despatch notes and/or other customer-related documents important to process.

Environment

  • Work with the team leader or supervisor to maintain a clean, safe, tidy and operational working environment at all times.

Maintenance

  • Ensure key equipment remains operational by adhering to routine Daily, Weekly, Monthly maintenance tasks and recording task completion in accordance with company procedures.

Continuous Improvement

  • Work with Microelectronics technicians and engineers to help develop manufacturing production processes and workflow to ensure best possible quality, process efficiency and ultimately reduce all forms of waste.

 Person Specifications:

  • The successful candidate will have at least 1 year experience working in a related manufacturing environment operating production equipment.
  •  
  •  
  •  
  •  
  • To have at least 1 year of experience working in a clean room environment.
  •  
  •  
  •  
  •  
  • Minimum Education, Four grade C or above GCSEs (or recognised equivalent).
  •  
  •  
  •  
  •  
  • Preferable Education, College qualifications such as. BTEC, or A-Levels, in engineering or science subjects.
  •  
  •  
  •  
  •  
  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent; City & Guilds Electronics would be advantageous.
  •  
  •  
  •  
  •  

Working towards tight deadlines and therefore the successful candidate must demonstrate that they are able to prioritise their workload effectively.
